Our recording rooms are located in a private residence near the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

It’s a relaxed atmosphere paired with top-notch gear.

We like to think of Desertcoast as a bridge between the big room and the project studio

(maybe a bit of coffee-house ambience thrown in….)

When you need a break from knobs and buttons, you can lose yourself on a desert walk.

It’s literally minutes away and it’s great for the creative spirit!

Many Desertcoast projects are produced entirely in house, but some start in large commercial rooms before winding up here for vocals, overdubs, or mixing.  We work with any format; the transition is simple and easy.

We also work on projects that start in home studios, but eventually outgrow some of the limitations of those environments. Desertcoast provides a perfect “step up”.

It’s hard to beat Neumann, Avalon, Great River, Mytek, and UAD FX when you get serious about your final product.

There’s also a 6 Foot Yamaha C3 Grand Piano for those times when only a real live piano will do !

If you love gear lists (and who doesn’t), here are a few names:
Avalon, Manley/Langevin, Great River, Mytek and RME Converters, TC Electronics, Neumann, Shure, ADK, EV, Audio Techinca, Gibson, Fender, Rhodes, Gretsch, MusicMan, Yamaha, Spectrasonics Atmospheres, and Vox.

 Monitoring : Dynaudio/Hafler

Software includes: Sonar, Acid ,Sound Forge, UAD, and various plug-ins.
